We 🧡 farmers and food artisans!

The best way to get fresh food and buy local is to shop at your local farmers market. We are fortunate in Mendocino and Lake Counties to have hundreds of farmers and food artisans who grow and make a wide range of delicious fruits, vegetables, breads, jams, meats, spices, and more, and sell them directly to the public. We are also fortunate that most of them are accessible to low-income buyers who use EBT or WIC. The details here show the 12 official certified markets, with each number on the map above corresponding with the numbered description below. Also keep your eyes open for informal markets (such as Covelo) and pop-ups that arise occasionally.
And don’t miss our spring recipe feature, which has dishes that you can make with fresh fruits and veggies from these farmers market!
